Sad Goodbyes

We had a great week, but had to say goodbye to the team last night. We weren't officially part of the team, but they welcomed us and included us all week. We are truly grateful for the time we spent with them and the experiences we shared.

This week was pretty crazy with all the activities and we are looking forward to a couple slower days so we can get caught up. We will be posting more stories and pictures from the week, but for now I will just share our group shot with some of the school staff at the end of the parenting workshop.

  4. Hey guys!
I had an amazing time on this trip. I miss you all sooo much! I think I had a bit of culture shock when we got back. I wondered why people were stopping at stoplights and couldn't believe how expensive things were at Target. And then I almost started talking in Spanish to the cashier lady. I hope you guys have a great rest of your time there and come home safely!

  5. To the Schario family,
I had to go back to work today in the States.
I still wanted to be in Ecuador. I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I'm thinking of you and reading your blogs.
Kahleen, Hannah, Elizabeth and Matt did an excellent job writing. I will never forget the people of Ecuador. You were definately part of the team the week we were there. I will continue to pray for all of you. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

  6. Hi Scharios how are you all doing? I have been reading up on you from time to time and it sure looks like you have been busy and doing a great job. I have been keeping tabs on Marley and make sure to give her extra petting when she's in the back yard I know she misses you. We miss you and will see you soon...Take care Ron, Anna, Liz & Maria
